Shelagh Smith - Advance Performance

Shelagh holds an MA in Organisational Analysis & Behaviour from Lancaster University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Coaching & Mentoring from Oxford Brookes University. This theoretical grounding is combined with over 20 years experience in senior HR specialist positions including operational and corporate roles within both the private and public sectors.

In her roles with Allied Domecq, Thorn EMI and Transport for London, Shelagh has developed and implemented organisational and leadership development solutions, that added measurable value to the organisations. She has merger and acquisition experience including facilitating the process through to successful integration.

Shelagh has over 10 years experience as an executive coach, having supported the development of individuals and teams from many functional areas across differing business sectors. She is highly accomplished in this field and acts as a coaching supervisor to other business coaches in the increasingly important area of coaching supervision. Her role is to provide the professional support and continuous development to the business coach in their work, as well as to monitor the coach’s work with the coachee and ensure their well being.
