Betsy Westendorf - Advance Performance

Betsy Westendorf has been developing and conducting corporate trainings in interpersonal communication skills for the past 20 years. Her courses include Presentation Skills, Meeting and Team Facilitation Skills, Management and Leadership Skills, Skills for Handling Group and Individual Controversy, Business Writing Skills, Sales Skills, and Skills for Working with Other Styles. Betsy has also taught hundreds of corporate trainers in the Craft of Training.

Betsy is currently working with executives and organizations to make their meetings more productive, inspiring, motivational and fun. After making a video assessment, she helps the client determine the kinds of meetings needed, the format for those meetings and the facilitation skills which will tap into and cultivate both group and personal commitment and creativity.

Betsy is Canadian and has lived both in France and Italy. This personal experience plus her fascination is cross-cultural issues qualifies her to coach families who are arriving on assignment in the US, leaving for an overseas assignment, or returning after living 2-plus years overseas.

Betsy has worked in North and South American, Europe and the Pacific Rim for clients such as Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Johnson & Johnson, Citibank, American Express, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Apple Computer Inc., Morgan Stanley, Time-Warner Inc., G.E. Capital, Lucent Technologies, Sun Life Financial, PepsiCo, Nabisco, International Paper, Credit Swiss First Boston, The New York Times, and more.

Betsy began her career working for IBM as a Systems Engineer where she was responsible for the installation and running IBM equipment in over 100 small and medium size financial institutions. In this role, she designed and ran client workshops, which led to the pursuit of her current career as an independent Corporate Trainer.
